Future Stars Regionals will be held October 17th at the US Olympic Training Center. Lets see a strong showing from Colorado.

Future Stars State Meet Info. & Entry Form

The Future Stars State Meet will be held at GK Gymnastics in Ft. Collins Colorado on September 12th. The meet fee will be $30 and will include a T-Shirt. Please mail your entry fees to:

To help the state catchup to the 21st century registration for the meet will be online only. Please have your club fill out the entry form below. I will email conformation rosters as the meet approaches. If you have any question regarding the online entry please feel free to email me.

Future Stars Clinic Wrap-up

The Future Stars Clinic in Steamboat this past weekend went off without a hitch. The boys worked very hard and had a ton of fun. We focused on form a basics and saw a huge improvement in most of the boys at the end of the camp. I would like to thank Mike for letting us use his awesome brand new facility. I would also like to thank Eric, Kenny, Neil, and John for helping out and making this a great event. We are already looking forward to next years.

Future Stars Nationals

The Future Stars National Championship has been scheduled for November 12th through the 14th at the Olympic training center. Remember only 10-12 year olds are eligible to compete at Nationals please check your Future Stars documentation for qualifying scores.

Jordan Valdez (Former Future Star Gymnast) placed first AA in the junior division at the 2009 Men’s National Qualifier this past weekend at the Olympic Training Center. Jordan will now be competing at the Visa Championships in Dallas TX Aug. 12th-15th. We are happy to see so many Future Stars gymnasts excel at the top level of this sport. Please be sure to follow Jordan and root him on. Go Jordan!! Go Colorado Future Stars!!

Tramp. Routines Update

USAG has just released an update to the Future Stars program. The update only changers the tramp. routines. There are now 4 routines to chose from. A gymnast my choose any routine they wish. However the more difficult the routine the higher the start value. They gymnasts are encouraged to compete the routines at state but it’s not mandatory. However it is mandatory at the regional level but the score is not tabulated into the final. At the national meet tramp. is required and the score will be added into the final. Future Stars Retreat/Clinic

For the first time ever we are putting on a Future Stars Retreat/Clinic. Excel Gymnastics in Steamboat Springs CO, has been kind enough to let us use their brand new facility for this great event. The clinic is August 8th and 9th. This is a great opportunity for Future Stars Gymnasts to get together with coaches and judges from around the state. Email me if you would like more information.
